The Thrift Shop of Boston’s mission is two-fold – Provide the community with affordable clothing and household goods, while raising money for The Home for Little Wanderers. The organization is largely volunteer run, and due to their collective talents, hard work and commitment to this end, The Thrift Shop’s fundraising efforts have reached a new milestone! This week, The Thrift Shop of Boston presented The Home for Little Wanderers with a check for $150,000 – the most the organization has contributed since opening for business in 1926. Congratulations to the volunteers – they give so much of their time and energy, and The Shop’s success is predicated on their service.
